Commercializing biogenic CO₂: Unlocking the e-methanol market through smart integration

Biogenic CO₂ is emerging as a high-value feedstock for renewable fuel production. Drawing on ANDRITZ’s FEED study with a Brazilian pulp mill, this keynote shows how pulp and bio-based industries can commercialize their CO₂ streams and access the rapidly growing e-methanol market. With maritime transport driving demand toward 8 million t/a by 2030, over 3 million t/a for shipping alone, we outline the key cost drivers and how integrated P2X design brings production to market-competitive levels.
