ORLEN is developing a hydrogen and biofuels strategy focused on innovative projects, infrastructure expansion, and international cooperation. The main areas of interest include hydrogen production and its derivatives, H₂ storage, and advanced biofuels, with particular emphasis on the potential of Finland and other Scandinavian countries for the development of competitive hydrogen solutions. The company aims to build partnerships and create import corridors to strengthen Poland’s position as a European center for energy and hydrogen storage. In the presentation, Grzegorz Jóźwiak, Executive Director for Biofuels and Hydrogen at ORLEN S.A., will present these key directions for growth and cooperation in the Baltic region.
