Expectations for industrial site readiness: the case of Tampere region

Large-enough sites and the availability of utility services are among the key requirements for energy intensive industries when making location decisions. Sufficient availability of electrical power and freshwater are crucial inputs to many processes, while the utilization of excess heat in local district heating network is an asset.
Join us to hear cross-sector perspectives and gain practical insights into how regions can successfully attract and enable large-scale, energy-intensive investments. Using Tampere region as a case study, we elaborate on best practices for site preparation in 2026.
